## Definition

**Compound Writing** is an experimental new plugin developed by Every that helps you write with AI the way Every does internally[^01a0f15a-4764-75a0-bc24-c7d298f2e923@0]. It is designed around workflows where AI gathers, questions, critiques, and thinks out loud, while the judgment, taste, and final words remain with the human writer.

**Compound Writing** is an experimental plugin developed by Every that helps you write with AI the way Every does internally[^01a0f15a-4764-75a0-bc24-c7d298f2e923@0]. Rather than treating a model as an autopilot that writes for you, the plugin is built around the workflows Every's writers actually use — where AI gathers, questions, critiques, and thinks out loud, while judgment, taste, and final word choices stay human. In the channel's exploration of \Writing with AI\, Compound Writing serves as a concrete example of a professional writing process made into a tool: staff writer Katie Parrott demonstrates how a professional writer writes with AI using the plugin[^01a0f15a-4764-75a0-bc24-c7d298f2e923@0]. The focus is on producing and revising written work with AI while keeping your own voice — exploring how AI can support gathering material and critiquing drafts without displacing human judgment.- **Compound Writing** is Every's experimental plugin for writing with AI the way Every does internally[^01a0f15a-4764-75a0-bc24-c7d298f2e923@0].- It reflects a process where AI helps gather, question, and critique — but the writer keeps judgment, taste, and the final words.- Katie Parrott demonstrates the plugin in practice on the channel[^01a0f15a-4764-75a0-bc24-c7d298f2e923@0].
