How we work
Sessions, not hours.
Sessions, not hours.
We don’t count hours or label anyone full-time or part-time. A session is one focused working block: you clock in, tell the group what you’ll do today, then clock out. You choose how many sessions per week you commit to.
Roles, not positions.
Nobody locks you into one job title. Each day you pick the session and the role you’ll work — and you work at what you are best and strongest at.
Move slow. Read carefully.
A session is a focused environment by design. You can move slow, read carefully, and think before you act — rushed output is not output we want.
Sessions ship.
The session rate pays for shipped work. If a session is for exploration only, it runs on the basic working environment — the same calm setup, without the session rate.
Claude on us.
We provide an API gateway and a token so you can use Claude in every session. Usage is responsible by default: the OpenTelemetry setup is compulsory, so every call is visible, measurable, and honest.
Self-owned, product first.
Before you write a line, you’ll know what Liquid Gold delivers and why: deep exploration across channels and notebooks. Then you carry your piece end to end — decide, build, ship, and stand behind it — because you own it, not because it was assigned.
Show what’s new.
After every session, you record a short video about what is new today and send it to the group. This is a requirement of joining Liquid Gold — it is how the team sees the work and how you prove ownership.
Every role states its sessions per week and its pay per session, up front. The rate is the rate — set fairly for Singapore, nothing to negotiate. These are roles, not positions: each day you pick the session and the role you’ll work.
Engineering
Fullstack Engineer
3–5 sessions / week · USD 150–220 / session
TypeScript end to end: Next.js on Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, Drizzle and Postgres. You ship features across the whole stack.
AI Agent Engineer
3–5 sessions / week · USD 170–240 / session
LLM pipelines, agent workflows, MCP integrations, and the evaluation harnesses that keep them honest.
Platform Engineer
2–4 sessions / week · USD 160–230 / session
The Cloudflare fleet: workers, containers, queues, ingestion pipelines — and the cost and reliability of all of it.
Mobile Engineer
2–3 sessions / week · USD 120–170 / session
