How **artifact** is used in this material In this channel's material, artifact refers to the written output and working files that make up an AI-assisted writing setup — the concrete pieces a writer produces, refines, and keeps around, rather than the abstract process behind them.[^b0bf7da8-31a6-58e0-9a5b-a27643d43a86@0] The surrounding conversation in the Writing Camp Q&A with Katie Parrott & Kate Lee explores how writers organize such pieces: a voice guide built from writing samples, style guides, skills, and custom instructions all serve as inputs that shape the artifacts AI helps produce. | Key idea: an artifact is something you can point at — a draft, a guide, a sample set — as opposed to the workflow or the tooling that creates it.
