AI Policy, Regulation, and Education
This chapter exists to connect two conversations that usually happen apart: how governments are choosing to shape AI through policy, workforce training, and economic development, and how people — from state employees to a 17-year-old at an AI-powered school — are actually adapting to it. After reading it you will be able to analyze the main policy levers being pulled, explain why they take the forms they do, and describe how learners and workers adapt their education and habits in the age of AI. The evidence comes from two very different vantage points: a sitting governor talking policy [^01a0f15a-e441-79e3-b351-bba1aa42b886@262], and a student living inside an AI-native school [^n-xBQE8A-3E@198].
